Meaghan Appleton, ACA / Vet Student

Animal Care Attendant/Vet Student

I’ve always loved animals and credit my first dog Angel with inspiring me at a young age to dream of helping animals and becoming a veterinarian. In 2019, I graduated from the Bio-Medical Science program at the University of Guelph and I’m currently going into my third year at the Ontario Veterinary College. I love learning about all species and the clinical aspects of veterinary medicine. I’m particularly interested in internal medicine and working with companion animals. I’m so fortunate that I have the opportunity to build on my clinical experience here at Manitou!

Outside of work and my studies I love spending time with family and my goldendoodle Scarlet, playing soccer and hockey, and enjoying the outdoors.
