Amelia joined the Manitou Animal Hsoptial team in March 2023. Growing up, Amelia was always fascinated by animals. One time she helped her uncle deliver a calf at the family farm. Amelia went to school for PSW and Medical Receptionist but still felt like she wasn’t in the right career path. She switched from working with humans to animals in 2020 and hasn’t looked back.At home, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Toomas and her two fur babies, Paisley and Dexter. They are a mixture of a Shih Tzu and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel – biological siblings from different litters.
