Hannah Menary

Growing up my house was always a zoo, we had everything you could imagine: cats, dogs, snakes, lizards, and even pet rats. My mom is a vet tech so growing up around her and all my animals I had an attachment towards animals that just kept growing over the years. Finally, when I was about 12 I started volunteering at Manitou on Saturdays just helping out where ever I could. I immediately realized that I wanted to be in this field and that this was my future. The day I turned 16 was the best day of my life because I got the opportunity to actually be apart of the dream team that I have looked up to growing up. Now getting to help out more than ever makes me so happy I wouldn’t trade it with the world!
