Veterinarian
on Maternity Leave
As a kid, I always knew I wanted to be a veterinarian. Growing up, we had quite the zoo at home, with pets including fish, a rabbit, a parrot and a horse! I graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Biology in 2015, followed by a Master of Science in companion animal nutrition in 2017. In 2021, I graduated from the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program at the Ontario Veterinary College. My clinical interests include preventative medicine, nutrition, surgery, ultrasound, and dentistry.
I joined Manitou Animal Hospital in May 2019 as a veterinary student, and I am very excited to be a part of the team as a veterinarian! I am passionate about fostering long-lasting relationships with every patient and client. It is great to hear stories about how your pet enriches your life, and I really enjoy helping you learn more about your furry friends. I am also Fear-Free Certified, which means that I’ve taken additional training to learn how to make your pet’s visit as relaxing as possible.
Outside of work, I enjoy horseback riding, baking, crocheting, reading, and travelling. I have a cat named Oscar and two horses named Maxie and Ollie.
