Grace

I started volunteering at Manitou in 2023, which introduced me to working with animals in a clinical setting. After 3 years of gaining valuable experience, I am excited to be joining the team as a part-time summer student. I recently completed my Bachelor of Science in Animal Biology at the University of Guelph and aspire to pursue a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in the near future. 

I have always been surrounded by animals, and grew up with many pets, most recently my one-eyed rescue cat. Outside of my experience at Manitou, I have also developed a background in large animal medicine through volunteering at a clinic, as well as working on farms and as a stable hand.

I am grateful for the opportunity to continue learning and gaining hands-on experience alongside such a knowledgeable and supportive team. I look forward to expanding my skills and helping provide the best possible care to patients and their families.
