Veterinary Technician
I always wanted to be a part of the veterinary world, but it wasn't until doing a high school co-op, that I learned about being a veterinary technician and it seemed like the perfect fit. I went to Lakeland College in Alberta and graduated in 2008. I started at Manitou in 2009 and I love that I never stop learning. Each day can bring a new challenge, which keeps it exciting and of course, puppy snuggles! The clients we have are the best! I also love to see our Manitou family grow together and expand to welcome new staff members. My first pet was a Labrador named Trooper. Since then, I have had a quarter horse named Chevy, Cash - a Shepherd/Rottweiler mix that I adopted during college, and my cat Milhouse, who currently runs our house. A fun fact about me is that I am crazy into horses! My four-year-old quarter horse Beau seems to take up most of my free time.
