Bridget Nailor, ACA / Kennel Staff

Animal Care Attendant/Kennel Staff

Growing up I dreamed of being the next Steve Irwin or Jane Goodall. I always loved animals and have wonderful memories of growing up with my family’s two dogs Shane and Tiffany. After high school, I got the opportunity to work at the Ninth Life Cat Rescue in Burlington, where I met my current cats Princess and Lullaby. Over the years, I tried my hand at several other fields of work but found myself drawn back to the world of Animal Care. I was lucky enough to land a position here at Manitou Animal Hospital where I’ll be able to experience and learn about many aspects of the field of veterinary medicine. I hope to save up and begin my education in the near future, and while the exact direction is still unclear to me, I’m positive it will involve animals in one way or another.

While not at work, you can usually find me either spending time with family and friends, practicing my singing or either watching and growing my film collection (I’m at 650 so far, still going strong!).
