Bailie Henderson, CCR

Client Care Representative

I’ve always had a passion for animals for as long as I can remember, growing up we almost always had pets! Dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, etc. But it wasn’t until I moved to British Columbia with my family and discovered the veterinary assistant program at the University of the Fraser Valley that my love for animals really blossomed. I started a co-op after my university course and got a job through them as an assistant and I loved every minute of it. Even though I was only there for a few months, I learned a lot from them and it made me realize I choose the right career path.

I started at Manitou Animal Hospital on August 30th of 2019. I knew Manitou was the place I wanted to work at by how friendly everyone was when I came into the clinic. Our co-workers are like family and are always willing to help each other out which really helps the days go by smoother.

What I enjoy most about my job is getting to connect with clients over our love and passion for our pets. There is never a dull moment in a clinic atmosphere so it definitely keeps you on your toes and there is always so much to learn!
